The Patient Participation Group allows patients to feedback constructive comments and suggestions for improvements to services provided by the practice. It is run by volunteers who give up a bit of their time to be the voice of the patients to the surgery and to put on activities such as the newsletter and the health talks.

Receptionist - Branch Surgery Royal Holloway University, Egham

We are looking for an additional enthusiastic receptionist to join the team at our branch site Royal Holloway University in Egham.  Previous experience of dealing with the public, along with strong face to face customer service and communication skills. Training on the specific IT systems we use will be given but candidates must be competent using computers. Experience within the NHS is preferable but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.

This is an extremely busy role in a fast-paced environment and candidates must have a good telephone manner, be able to work as part of a team and work well under pressure along with a flexible approach to help provide cover during periods of any staff absence, e.g. annual leave.

Working hours will be over three full days as follows: 

  1. Monday                 0830 to 1730
  2. Tuesday                 0830 to 1730
  3. Tuesday                 0830 to 1730

NB: this is an all-year-round role and not just term time.
